This show will proudly feature some of Rwanda’s most exceptional comedic talent, making their debut appearance on American soil. However, the fascinating backstory of an unlikely friendship is what brings us to this exciting moment. In 2017, Giulio embarked on a journey to Rwanda to participate in their inaugural international comedy festival where he was warmly hosted by Babu and Michael. Together, they created a lighthearted short film about their shared experiences, a creation that left a lasting impression not only in the comedy world but also beyond. 

The genesis of this extraordinary trip traces back to a simple Facebook message Giulio sent to the guys after stumbling upon their profiles in a random political magazine. Initially, both parties were cautious, with doubts about the potential connection. However, they decided to take a leap of faith, and their friendship has flourished ever since. 

In the previous year’s festival, Babu and Mikael engaged in a compelling discussion via zoom. This year, the group aspired to elevate their collaboration to new heights by bringing together a stellar ensemble of Rwanda’s finest comedians to perform in the United States for the very first time.
