The iconic Richard Belzer — the quintessential New York comic’s comic and everyone’s favorite conspiracy theorist — steps into the spotlight at Stage 72 for the New York Comedy Festival to play host to three of the city’s very best young comedians. The Belz has seen ‘em all and for this very special show he’s picked his very best bets from among the New York comedy scene to proudly present stand-up stand-outs Giulio Gallarotti, Robyn Schall and Gary Vider in a hilarious night of can’t-miss, must-see stand-up.
Robyn Schall: Named one of CBS.com’s “Top 5 standout comics in NY”, Robyn has been taking the comedy scene by storm. “Fast, Smart and Funny” is how she was described on www.funnynotslutty.com. In addition to having her own monthly show here at Caroline’s on Broadway, she also performs all over the country. Robyn will be seen on this season’s “Raising McCain” on Pivot TV, was recently featured in the latest A$AP Rocky music video and has appeared on TLC and TruTV. Robyn was the first place winner this year in the Hoboken Comedy Festival and was asked to be in this years NY Comedy Festival performing with Richard Beltzer. She has taken her stand up act and transformed it into a mini sit-com form web-series titled “Not The Sharpest Crayon.” It’s completely based off her stand up and just finished its second season.
